Indri – Trini Indian Single Malt (75cl)

Indri Trini is an Indian single malt matured in three kinds of cask: ex-bourbon, ex-French wine and ex-sherry. Each wood was chosen for its own contribution without overshadowing the original whisky, which is light and fruity with sweet vanilla, spice and a subtle nuttiness. The colour is amber. The nose is gentle and mellow, with black tea, caramelised pineapple and a little oak, then vanilla and honey from the bourbon oak, spiced tannins from the European oak, and raisin and sweet sherry notes. The palate is rich yet smooth and warm, with gentle spice and wood. The finish is balanced and long, with sweet fruit.
