A Caol Ila single malt distilled in 2011 and aged 10 years, matured in a bourbon hogshead and bottled at 56.4% under the Ingelred name.
The nose is soft and fresh with peat, followed by olive oil, wood-shaving vanilla and caramel. The peat smoke on the palate is fairly mild and sweet, with rock sugar and citrus fruit. The finish is fairly long, with sweetness and lightly bitter peat.
