Iniquity Silver Series Batch No. 23 is an Australian single malt from Tin Shed Distilling Co, at 46% ABV. It is a vatting of three parts: 47.8% four-year-old first-fill sherry US oak, 49.8% three-year-old first-fill port US oak, and 2.4% two-year-old first-fill bourbon that spent its first year in a first-fill Shiraz cask.
The nose has toffee, caramel, herbs, lime zest, orange sherbet and glazed fruit, with a faint note of barrel char. The palate is herbaceous and minty, rich and smooth, and the caramel returns. The finish brings ginger snap spice, orange, mint, sultanas and prunes.
