Iniquity Talamara is an Australian single malt whisky from Tin Shed Distilling Co, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in 4 year old Shiraz casks, then finished in a mix of port and sherry casks, predominantly American oak. It is very lightly peated, using peat from the Parawa property, which was originally named Talamara.
The nose has cedar, dry grass or burnt stubble, and burnt toast. On the palate come bread and marzipan, full body and a hint of fruit, with a fainter touch of barbecue ash. The finish is long and almost delicate, with malty overtones.
