The bourbon spent three years in American oak, then five months in a French oak Petit Verdot barrel from Flying Fox Winery in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The nose is intense, with dark grapes and ripe fruit alongside a little oak. The palate is full and rich, with dark chocolate, dried red fruit and fine tannins. The finish is long and smooth, with the fruit blending into light spice.
