This is a 27 year old Isle of Arran single malt, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2024 by Murray McDavid for its Mission Gold series. It is unpeated.
The whisky matured in a refill sherry butt, number 242.
The nose combines warm, buttery malt with the sweetness of ripe cherries. The palate is velvety, with baked apricots and bright citrus. The finish is lasting, with a light peppery spice and the sweet depth of oak.
