Isle of Fionia Danish Oak is a Danish single malt from Nyborg Distillery, bottled at 46%. It was matured in casks of Danish oak, which give a different cask profile from the American or European oak usually associated with whisky. The nose offers vanilla, caramel and ripe fruit alongside dried oak and light spice. The palate is full and rounded, with malt, darker sweetness, oak and warm spice. The finish is dry and long.
