This is an 8 year old single malt from Nyborg Destilleri in Denmark, released under the Isle of Fionia name. It matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt and is bottled at a natural strength of 56.3%. It is a sister cask to Aftenrode, and 638 bottles were filled. The whisky is described as showing dried fruit, nuts, dark chocolate and spicy undertones from the sherry cask. The finish is long, warm and full.
