Isle of Fionia Stilheden i Stormen 10 Year Old (58.2%)

Isle of Fionia Stilheden i Stormen is a 10 year old single cask whisky from Nyborg Distillery in Denmark, bottled at 58.2% ABV. It belongs to the distillery's Adventures Spirit series, which features unusual cask combinations and higher strengths than the standard releases. The whisky spent all ten years in the same cask, an original 500 litre sherry butt that held oloroso for at least 30 years. It was later rebuilt on Islay as a puncheon of about 380 litres and filled with a smoky whisky from a well-known Islay distillery. The name refers poetically to Funen, and 259 bottles were filled.
