Isle of Harris Gin (75cl)

Isle of Harris Gin is a Scottish gin distilled on the island in a small copper still called The Dotach, which stands beside the distillery's larger whisky stills. Each bottle carries a paper seal printed with the distillery's coordinates. Its key botanical is sugar kelp, gathered by hand from local sea-lochs, working alongside juniper, coriander seed, cubebs, cassia bark, angelica root, bitter orange peel, orris root and liquorice root. The nose is juniper and pine needles with bitter orange, lime, grapefruit, rose, green herbs and mixed spice. The palate is refreshing and dry, balancing juniper with mango, grapefruit and orange. The finish is long and clean, with vanilla, black pepper and a hint of the sea.
