Isle of Jura – 10 Year Old 1990s (43%)

This is a 10 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Isle of Jura, bottled in the 1990s at 43% ABV. It is pale gold in colour. The nose is fresh and light, with plush maltiness, lemon yoghurt and honeyed porridge. The palate is rather punchy and peppery, with ripe green and yellow fruit, mineral oils, soot and toasted mixed seeds. Sweeter fruit sits against drier cereal and coastal tones. The finish is medium, cereal, herbal and slightly peppery.
