Isle of Jura 10 Year Old is a single malt from the 2000s. It was aged in American white oak bourbon barrels and finished in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose offers honeyed barley, peaches in syrup and light wafts of fragrant wood smoke. The palate starts oily and subtly spicy, then earthy vanilla pod and chocolate-covered raisins develop. Another touch of smoke rounds off the finish.
