Isle of Jura 10 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the only distillery on the island of Jura. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and comes in a gold box.
The nose is clearly coastal, with low tide, sea salt and beach seaweed alongside melon, tinned peach, fresh citrus and heather honey. Peat smoke is barely present. The palate starts fresh and slightly sparkling, with orange, lemon, vanilla, honey and clean malt. The finish is lightly astringent, turning to fruity sweetness with honey, peach skin and a salty, mineral note.
