Isle of Jura 10 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky, distilled and bottled in Scotland by The Isle of Jura Distillery Co. Ltd. It is 40% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is light and grassy, with fresh hay, then honey, vanilla and caramel, orange peel, nectarine and apple, over a faint trace of black pepper and salty smoke. The palate is soft and medium-bodied, with vanilla cream, dark chocolate, toffee, ginger, cinnamon and a hint of ground coffee. The finish is moderately long and clean, with the fruity sweetness of sherry cask, a little liquorice bitterness and dry wood.
