Isle of Jura 12 Year Old The Bay is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 1 litre bottle, at 44% ABV. It is first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in casks that previously held 15-year-old Pedro Ximénez sherry.
The nose brings toffee apple and sweet spice. The palate shows raisins, fig and ginger spice, with figs, gingerbread and raisins running through the whisky and a burst of sweet liquorice on the finish.
