Isle of Jura 18 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 44% ABV.
It spends eighteen years maturing in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, then is enriched in Premier Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux red wine barriques. The result is a rich, fruity whisky with cooked raspberries, warm spice, caramel and crème anglaise.
The nose is bold with red fruits, toffee, crème anglaise and cinnamon. On the palate come warm spice and rich black forest fruit, with cooked raspberries and strawberries and a hint of chocolate.
