Prophecy is a heavily peated single malt from the Isle of Jura, inspired by an old island prophecy. It is bottled at 46% ABV.
The nose is smoky and aromatic, with bonfire peat, dry earth, spiced oak, sea breeze and driftwood. On the palate it is full-bodied and oily, with heavy peat smoke, charcoal and black pepper, balanced by caramel, toffee and dark chocolate. Brine and seaweed add a maritime edge.
The finish is long, smoky and warming, with peat ash, oak spice and salted caramel.
