This is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Jura, finished in Caribbean rum casks and bottled at 40% ABV. It has a golden amber colour.
The nose is tropical and gently sweet, with guava, coconut, sugared almonds, apricot and a lift of citrus. The palate is silky and fruit-forward, with vanilla, fudge, mango, banana and guava, and a thread of sweet cinnamon that builds toward the finish. The finish is medium to long and gently spiced, with cinnamon, soft oak, lingering tropical fruit and a last echo of vanilla and warm sugar.
