Dùn Cana is a single malt from the Isle of Raasay Distillery, bottled at 52% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from both peated and unpeated spirit, first matured in American rye casks.
Secondary maturation in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry quarter casks gives the whisky its character.
It shows peppery spice, dried sultanas and hints of vanilla. The finish is long, with salty chocolate and a light touch of aromatic wood smoke.
