Isle of Raasay – Made with Arbikie Barley Hebridean Single Malt (70cl, 50.2%)

Made with Arbikie Barley is a Hebridean single malt from Isle of Raasay, produced in collaboration with Arbikie Highland Estate. It is the distillery's first unpeated single malt made with Concerto barley grown at Arbikie, bottled at 50.2% in a 70cl bottle. The spirit matured for nearly six years on Raasay in ex-Woodford Reserve rye whiskey casks, filled at 63.5%. Fifteen barrels were chosen by Master Distiller Alasdair Day and his team. It is non-chill-filtered and naturally coloured. The nose brings green apple, banana and candied plum over soft vanilla and spice. On the palate come warm gingerbread, stewed fruit and brown sugar, and the finish is peppery, with pine sap, mint and dark chocolate.
