J. Henry Small Batch Bourbon is the flagship Straight Bourbon from J. Henry & Sons in Wisconsin. It is made from a red heirloom corn developed for the distillery and aged for a minimum of five years.
Each batch is blended from just 20 barrels and brought down slowly to 92 proof (46% ABV), so as not to shock the spirit.
The nose offers toasted almonds, light honey, sweet corn and vanilla. The palate is creamy, with toffee, brown sugar, soft oak and sweet brioche, and the finish is warming, with caramel and gentle baking spice.
