J. Roget American Brut Sparkling Wine California (75cl, 10%)

J. Roget American Brut is a Californian sparkling wine from Constellation Brands, made at its facility in St. Helena. It is a light, dry style at 10% ABV, sold in a 75cl bottle. It is made by the Charmat method. The base wine ferments in stainless steel, which keeps the fruit fresh and clean, and the second fermentation takes place in pressurised tanks rather than in the bottle. The result is a fruit-forward style of sparkle. On the palate it shows apple and pear freshness, balanced by toasty yeast notes and a floral touch. It works as an aperitif or as a base for a Mimosa or Bellini.
