J.W. Rutledge Cream of Kentucky 11.5 Year Old Straight Bourbon (75cl)

J.W. Rutledge Cream of Kentucky is an 11.5 year old Kentucky straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle. J.W. Rutledge is the project of Jim Rutledge, who left Four Roses in 2015 after 44 years there, 20 of them as master distiller. He drew on aged Kentucky bourbon stocks for releases under the Cream of Kentucky label, a name that revives a historic pre-Prohibition bourbon brand. The nose offers caramel, vanilla and toasted oak with fruit and warm spice. The palate is smooth and round with butterscotch, vanilla, dried fruit and integrated oak, leading to a medium-long, clean finish.
