Jack Daniel's 12 Year Old Batch 4 is a Tennessee whiskey from the distillery's Aged Series, the 2026 release, in a 70cl bottle at 107 proof (53.5% vol).
It is made from 80 percent corn, 12 percent malted barley and 8 percent rye, mellowed through sugar maple charcoal by the Lincoln County Process, then matured for 12 years in new charred American white oak. For the final stage the barrels were moved from the hot upper warehouse floors to cooler lower ones.
The nose is maple, brown sugar, graham cracker, banana bread, cinnamon and seasoned oak. On the palate come warm vanilla, black cherry, maple candy, caramel and baking spice over polished oak, and the finish is long and warming.
