Jack Daniel's Aged 10 Years Tennessee Whiskey (75cl, 48.5%)

Jack Daniel's 10 Year Old is a Tennessee whiskey and the first age stated release from the distillery in more than a century. It leads the brand's annual Aged Series and was made under Master Distiller Chris Fletcher. The label recalls the distillery's original cartouche. The mashbill is 80 percent corn, 12 percent malted barley and 8 percent rye. The whiskey is mellowed through sugar maple charcoal in the Lincoln County Process and aged ten years in new charred oak. The barrels spent several years on the upper floors of the barrelhouse before moving to the cooler lower floors. It is bottled at 97 proof, 48.5% ABV. It is described as richer and drier than standard Jack Daniel's, with caramel, banana, dark fruit, oak and bittersweet cocoa.
