Jack Daniel's – Bonded (70cl, 50%)

A Bottled in Bond Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, bottled at 100 proof (50%) in a 70cl bottle. It follows the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, so it comes from a single distillery and a single distilling year, and is matured for at least four years. The mash bill is 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye, and the whiskey is matured in hand-selected oak casks. As with all Jack Daniel's, it is filtered through maple charcoal before ageing. The nose offers caramel, rich oak and spice. The palate is big and bold, with dark brown sugar, cooked fruit and charred oak, and the finish brings warm baking spices with a little smoke.
