Jack Daniel's – Holiday Select 2012 (75cl, 45.2%)

This is the 2012 Holiday Select, a limited edition Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, bottled at 45.2% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is made from the contents of the 140 casks that the distillery in Lynchburg stacks into a Christmas tree outside its gates each year. The whiskey is filtered through maple charcoal, as with the regular Jack Daniel's range, and the higher strength is said to give it a fuller aroma. It comes in a specially made curved glass bottle with a distinctive stopper and a black box.
