Jack Daniel's – Master Distiller Series No. 5 (1L, 43%)

This is the fifth edition in a limited Jack Daniel's series honouring the distillery's master distillers, a Tennessee whiskey in a 100cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is dedicated to Frank Bobo, the fifth of the seven master distillers so far, and is the first in the series to honour one who is still living. Like every Jack Daniel's, it goes through charcoal mellowing in sugar maple charcoal before filling into white oak casks. The nose shows fruit with oak and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied and balanced, with sweet flavours and a light touch of garden herbs. The finish is long with a gently spicy note.
