Jack Daniel's – Master Distiller Series No. 5 (70cl, 43%)

This is a Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Number 5 in the Master Distiller Series is dedicated to Frank Bobo, who held the role from 1966 to 1988. He was the first living master distiller to be honoured with an edition. Like all Jack Daniel's, it is filtered drop by drop through sugar maple charcoal before going into white oak barrels. The nose is fruity, with oak and vanilla. The palate is full and well balanced, with sweet flavours and a light touch of garden herbs. The finish is long, with a slightly spicy note.
