Jack Daniel's – Old No. 7 Legacy Edition 1 (70cl, 43%)

Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Legacy Edition 1 is a Tennessee whiskey bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release in a series that revisits bottle labels from the past, and its label design dates from around 1900, when Jack Daniel was still personally running the distillery. Like all Jack Daniel's, it is made with iron-free water from the cave spring in Lynchburg and mellowed through sugar maple charcoal. The nose is light with a clear sweetness, spicy and nutty notes and a little smoke behind. The palate is soft, with ripe banana, nuts and caramel, and the finish is smoky and sweet with toasted oak.
