Jack Daniel's – Red Dog Saloon (70cl, 43%)

Jack Daniel's Red Dog Saloon is a Tennessee whiskey bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, made as an anniversary edition for the 125th birthday of the Red Dog Saloon in Lynchburg. The saloon opened alongside the White Rabbit Saloon, and it was the livelier of the two, run as a club. It no longer stands, but Jack Daniel's whiskey was once sold and drunk there. Like all Jack Daniel's, it is filtered drop by drop through sugar maple charcoal before it goes into casks. The nose is lightly smoky, with oak and dark charcoal. On the palate come caramel and balanced fruit with a touch of oak, leading to a soft, smooth finish.
