Jack Daniel's Rye is a Tennessee straight rye whiskey in a 70cl bottle, at 45% ABV. The mash is 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% barley.
It is matured in handmade casks of American white oak. Like other Jack Daniel's whiskies, it is made with iron-free cave spring water from Lynchburg and mellowed through charcoal from sugar maple.
The nose is sweet, with ripe fruit, a little oak, cinnamon and stewed apple. The palate has sweet caramel with some spice, and the finish is peppery.
