Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Rye Tennessee Rye Whiskey (75cl, 47%)

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Rye is a Tennessee rye whiskey from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, bottled at 47% ABV (94 proof) in a 75cl bottle. Each bottle comes from one barrel, and the neck band records the barrel number, rack location and bottling date. The mashbill is 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley. The whiskey matures in new charred American oak on the upper floors of the barrelhouse and is charcoal mellowed through sugar maple charcoal. The nose is banana cream and dark brown sugar with cherry, vanilla and gentle rye spice. The palate is lightly sweet before dried fruit, trail mix, caramel and peppery rye spice, and the finish is clean and grain forward, with dried fruit and spice.
