Jack Daniel's – Single Barrel Select (70cl, 45%)

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select is a Tennessee whiskey bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured for four to seven years in new oak barrels, and barrels chosen for single bottling are stored high in the warehouse to take advantage of the swings in temperature. Like all Jack Daniel's, it is filtered through sugar maple charcoal before filling. The nose has toasted oak, corn and grain sweetness, a good note of smoke, a little spice and toffee. The palate is full, with grain sweetness, rye, a hint of cigar box, nut oils and aniseed. The finish is of good length, with a touch of citrus and plenty of grain sweetness.
