This is an 18 year old Irish blend from Jameson, made at Midleton and bottled in 2022 at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
It matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, then was finished in first-fill bourbon barrels.
The nose is soft and fruity, with ripe pear, honey, vanilla, light spices and gentle oak. The palate is velvety, with toasted wood, caramel, honey cream, tropical fruit, subtle sherry and fine spice. The finish is long and warm, with sweet oak, light spice and a soft, oily texture.
