Jameson Black Barrel Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Jameson Black Barrel is an Irish blended whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is triple distilled and made around the Midleton Distillery in County Cork. The focus is the cask: heavily charred oak, which shapes the exchange between wood and spirit and brings sweet cask notes and toasted oak to the front. The nose opens with apricot and caramel, with a note of almond. On the palate, vanilla and caramel meet spicy oak, and the whiskey is soft, round and creamy. The finish keeps the oak for a long time, with a gentle vanilla note.
