Jameson Black Barrel is a triple-distilled Irish blend, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in bourbon barrels that have been charred extra heavily, a technique that adds caramel, spice and depth and gives a blend with more body and a warm, full finish.
The nose brings roasted nuts, butterscotch, toffee, soft spices and vanilla. The palate is full and creamy, with caramel, candied fruit, toasted oak and a hint of cocoa. The finish is warm, spicy and long, balancing sweetness against wood.
