Jameson Crested Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Jameson Crested is a triple distilled blended Irish whiskey from Midleton Distillery, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks, with sherry playing a larger part than it does in the classic Jameson. On the nose there are ripe red apples, stewed fruit, soft spices and light sherry notes. The palate brings creamy caramel, toffee, toasted wood and subtle tannins, with the warmth of first-fill sherry casks. The finish is soft and long, with hints of chocolate and roasted grains.
