Jameson Triple Triple (1L, 40%)

Jameson Triple Triple is an Irish blended whiskey in a one-litre bottle, bottled at 40%. It is made at the Midleton Distillery from triple-distilled whiskeys and matured in Bourbon, sherry and Malaga casks. The Malaga casks add a gentle sweetness and extra smoothness to the blend. The nose begins with sweet pear and citrus peel, with dark fruit behind, then cinnamon, clove, vanilla, chocolate and toasted oak. On the palate come juicy orchard fruit with hints of blackcurrant, plum and raisin, while clove and black pepper add depth and oak tannins bring dark chocolate and liquorice. The finish is lingering, with spice slowly easing back to fruit and oak.
