Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea Wheated Bourbon (45%)

Jefferson's Ocean Aged at Sea is a wheated bourbon bottled at 45% ABV. It spends at least four years maturing in traditional rickhouses before going aboard ships that travel the world, where the motion and sea air continue to shape it. Wheat is the secondary grain in the mash bill. The nose brings butterscotch, vanilla bean and caramel with a touch of salty air and warm oak. On the palate there is toasted caramel, allspice and white pepper with a hint of sea salt. The finish is long, with oak, nutmeg, pecans and a note of sourdough.
