Jefferson's Tropics is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 52% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It won a Silver medal at the World Whiskies Awards.
Barrels of Kentucky-distilled bourbon, made from 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley, were shipped to Singapore. There they spent 18 months in warehouses without climate control, where the heat and humidity pushed the spirit deeper into the charred oak.
The nose brings mixed berry jam, bing cherry, cinnamon and clove, with a touch of sea salt. The palate is rich, with stewed pear, caramel apple, toffee and honeycomb. The finish is long, with chocolate, peanut butter and cinnamon.
