Jefferson's – Tropics Finished in Singapore Bourbon (75cl, 52%)

Jefferson's Tropics is a Kentucky straight bourbon that is aged in Kentucky, then shipped to Singapore for its final stage of maturation. It is bottled at 52% ABV (104 proof) in a 75cl bottle. The finishing takes place in the equatorial climate, where temperatures sit around 30C all year and humidity is high. Evaporation there is much greater than in Kentucky warehouses, and the constant warmth keeps the spirit moving in and out of the stave. The nose offers caramel, vanilla and tropical fruit. The palate is sweet and spicy, with oak, caramel and tropical fruit, and the finish is long, smooth and warming with tropical spice.
