Jim Beam 15 Year Old Lineage Batch 1 is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 55.5% in a 700ml bottle. It was created by Fred Noe, seventh-generation master distiller, together with his son Freddie.
The bourbon spent 15 years in newly charred American white oak barrels and was made at the Clermont distillery.
The nose is caramel, vanilla and polished oak, with roasted peanuts and leather. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with brown sugar, toffee and toasted oak. The finish is long, warm and dry, with dark chocolate, cinnamon and a touch of smoke.
