Jim Beam Black is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey with a seven-year age statement, bottled at 45% in a 1 litre bottle.
The distiller describes the seventh year in the barrel as the sweet spot, where smoothness meets caramel, vanilla and warm oak, and the spirit takes on a rich golden colour.
Mellow golden caramel, rich oak and vanilla are the notes named on the bottle.
