Jim Beam Black is a Kentucky-style bourbon in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 86 proof (43%). It spends years longer in white oak barrels than original Jim Beam.
That extra time in wood is what gives it a full-bodied character, built around smooth caramel and warm oak.
On the nose it is deep, with caramel, oak, cinnamon and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied and well balanced, with heavier caramel and a rich flavour.
