Jim Beam Black Label is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 45%, or 90 proof, in a 70cl bottle. It was relaunched in 2024 with a fixed maturation of seven years in new, heavily charred American white oak casks. The mash combines corn, rye and malted barley. It is chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose brings charred oak, vanilla and a brown sugar sweetness with a touch of baking spice. The palate is full and soft, with strong caramel, vanilla and more baking spice. The medium-length finish holds caramel sweetness, mild oak and a little warming spice.
