Jim Beam – Devil's Cut (45%)

Jim Beam Devil's Cut is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 45% ABV. Its name refers to the part of the whiskey that soaks into the wood of the barrel during ageing instead of evaporating as the angel's share. That wood-soaked portion is extracted from the barrel and used here. The result is described as a bourbon with depth, rich oak and a powerful flavour. The nose has vanilla, toasted wood and subtle caramel. The palate is full and spicy, with dark wood and brown sugar. The finish is long and intense, with a clear oak note.
