Jim Beam Repeal Batch is a limited edition Kentucky straight bourbon, an 85th anniversary tribute to the end of Prohibition on 5 December 1933. It commemorates the first batch of bourbon James B. Beam made at his rebuilt distillery, 120 days after repeal.
It is bottled at 43% ABV (86 proof) in a 750ml bottle and is non-chill filtered. The label is inspired by the Jim Beam White bottlings of the 1930s.
The nose is oaky with light vanilla and brown spice. The palate brings char, caramelised notes, vanilla and oak spice. The finish is warm, with lingering caramel, oak and gentle spice.
