Jim Beam Winter Reserve is a 6-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, released as a limited edition for the colder months. It is bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV), in a 75cl bottle.
The bourbon is finished in new, toasted white oak barrels, a second maturation that adds baking spices and rich vanilla to the Beam profile.
The nose has vanilla extract, dark cherry, sweet oak and hints of clove and cinnamon. The palate is medium-bodied, with toasted oak, vanilla cream, brown sugar and warm baking spices. The finish is long and sweet, with vanilla and toasted wood.
