Johnny Drum Black Label is a Kentucky straight bourbon made at the family-owned Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. It is bottled at 43% ABV. The mash bill is corn, rye and malted barley, and the whiskey spends a minimum of four years in new, charred American oak barrels. The nose recalls the edge of a wood, with flowers, mint and honeysuckle growing at the foot of pine trees. The palate is oily caramel with oak, followed by a peppery finish.
